Taking advantage of Glastonbury Festival's fallow year, another festival has sprung up in mid-Somerset this summer.

The Road to Nowhere festival, due to be held at Lydford between August 3 and August 5, will welcome 500 people to Somerset.

Revellers are asked to bring food and supplies for three days, but money is banned and no food or goods will be sold at the event.

People can also build their own home – including building the furniture – within the camping village.

The event will feature indoor and outdoor stages with bands and DJs playing through the day and night.

Acts already confirmed include Futureboogie, Kubicle, Bad Passion, DRW Soundsystem, Lovesick and You Are We.

There will also be daytime film screenings and doodle workshops, live graffiti and art, clothes swap shop, reflexology, meditations.
